Experience gained in a successful judicial review by one of our members against Health Commission Wales has shown patients have the right to challenge the post code lottery regarding treatments and procedures.

New proposals in the European Union will have major implications. When needed, using healthcare in another Member State will be made easier with clearer rules on reimbursements, procedural guarantees and information for patients. This will ensure more effective access to cross-border healthcare.
